As you sit with this difficulty, turn your attention inward. Where do you feel the sensations of discomfort in your body? Is there tightness in your chest, a knot in your stomach, or perhaps a heaviness in your heart? Allow yourself to fully experience these sensations without judgment or the need to change them.
Imagine yourself breathing into these areas of discomfort, infusing them with a gentle, nurturing light. With each breath, envision this light softening and soothing any tension or pain. Embrace these sensations with the same tender care and understanding you would offer a dear friend in need.
Remember, just as the majestic red rocks that surround us have been shaped by the forces of nature over countless years, our own journey is one of growth and transformation. Each challenge we face, no matter how daunting, is an opportunity to deepen our self-understanding and cultivate resilience.
