Mindful Moments: A Serene Reset
Morning Mojo
Body Relax
❝Take a few minutes to ground yourself, find inner peace, and renew your energy.❞
Welcome, my friend. It's Ethan here, inviting you to join me in a brief mindfulness practice to help you reset, recharge, and find your inner calm. Wherever you are right now, let's take a moment to settle in and create a space of serenity.
If it feels comfortable, I invite you to close your eyes. If you prefer to keep them open, simply soften your gaze and find a point to rest your eyes upon. Take a deep breath in through your nose, feeling the air fill your lungs. Pause for a moment, and then slowly exhale through your mouth, allowing any tension to melt away.
As we begin, bring your awareness to your body. Notice the points of contact between your body and the surface beneath you. Feel the weight of your body being supported. Allow yourself to sink into that support, letting go of any holding or tension.
Now, bring your attention to your breath. Simply observe the natural flow of your breath, without trying to change it. Notice the cool sensation of the air as it enters your nostrils, and the warmth as it leaves. Let your breath be an anchor, a gentle reminder to be present in this moment.
As thoughts inevitably arise, acknowledge them without judgment. Imagine them as clouds drifting across the sky of your mind. They come, and they go, but the sky remains vast and unchanging. Gently guide your attention back to your breath.
In this space of presence, take a moment to cultivate gratitude. Bring to mind three things in your life that you're truly thankful for. They can be big or small, but really feel the sense of appreciation that arises as you consider each one. Allow that feeling of gratitude to fill your heart.
As we prepare to transition back into our day, set an intention for how you'd like to proceed. Ask yourself, "How can I carry this sense of peace and presence forward?" Perhaps it's by bringing a little more patience to your interactions, or by finding moments of mindfulness throughout your day.
Take one final deep breath, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. When you're ready, gently open your eyes if they've been closed. Take a moment to reorient yourself to your surroundings.
Remember, this place of calm and clarity is always accessible to you. Whenever you need to reset and recharge, you can return to your breath, to the present moment.
Thank you for joining me in this practice. Until next time, may you find peace and joy in each moment. Be well, my friend.
Meditation Song
[verse]
Pause, breathe deep, let tension fade away,
Find your center, in the present stay.
Thoughts drift by, like clouds in sky so blue,
Embrace this space, for mind and body new.
[chorus]
Mindful moments, a serene reset,
Inner peace found, no need to fret.
Renewed energy, flows like a stream,
Grounded in now, where all is serene.
