Begin to notice your breath, the gentle rise and fall of your chest. Without trying to change anything, simply observe the natural rhythm of your breathing. As you inhale, imagine you are drawing in a sense of peace and calm. And as you exhale, release any tension or worries that you may be holding.
Now, bring your awareness to your face. Soften the muscles around your eyes and let a gentle smile play on your lips. Feel the tension melting away as you relax your jaw and your forehead. Allow this sense of relaxation to flow down through your neck and into your shoulders, releasing any tightness you may be carrying there.
As you continue to breathe deeply, bring your attention to your hands. Notice any sensations you feel - perhaps warmth, tingling, or a sense of energy. Imagine that with each breath, your hands are softening and releasing, letting go of any tension.
Now, let your awareness drift to your heart space. Visualize a warm, golden light emanating from your heart, spreading a sense of love and acceptance throughout your entire being. Silently whisper to yourself, "I am here. I am safe. I am at peace."
