Let us begin by finding a comfortable position, whether seated on a cushion or a chair. Allow your spine to elongate, as if a gentle thread is pulling the crown of your head towards the heavens. Rest your hands in a way that feels natural and at ease.
As you settle into this moment, take three deep, intentional breaths. With each inhalation, feel the air flowing into your body, and with each exhalation, release any tension or preoccupations. Let the breath be your anchor, guiding you back to the present whenever your mind wanders.
Now, bring your attention to the natural rhythm of your breath. Notice how your body breathes for you, a testament to the inherent trust that exists within. Just as your heart beats and your digestion occurs without conscious effort, your breath sustains you, moment by moment.
