Hello, and welcome to this guided meditation. Let's take a moment to settle into a comfortable position, either seated or lying down. Allow your body to relax and let go of any tension or stress you may be holding onto.

Take a deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs with fresh, cleansing air. Exhale slowly through your mouth, releasing any worries or concerns. Continue this deep breathing, focusing on the sensation of the breath moving in and out of your body.

As you breathe, bring your awareness to your heart space. Imagine a warm, glowing light emanating from your heart, spreading love and compassion throughout your entire being. With each inhale, feel this light growing brighter and more expansive.

Now, let's work with some affirmations to cultivate self-love and kindness. Repeat these phrases silently to yourself, allowing them to resonate deeply within you:

May I be filled with loving-kindness.
May I be gentle with myself.
May I accept myself just as I am.
May I be happy and at peace.

Continue repeating these affirmations, or any others that resonate with you. Let the words wash over you, infusing every cell of your body with love and compassion.

If your mind wanders, gently guide it back to the affirmations and the feeling of self-love. Remember, this practice is about being kind and patient with yourself, even in moments of distraction.

As you continue this meditation, notice any shifts in your body or mind. You may feel a sense of warmth, lightness, or peace. Embrace these sensations, knowing that you are worthy of love and compassion.

Now, take a final deep breath in, and exhale slowly. Begin to bring your awareness back to your surroundings, wiggling your fingers and toes. When you feel ready, gently open your eyes.

Carry this feeling of self-love and kindness with you throughout your day. Remember that you have the power to nurture and support yourself, no matter what challenges may arise. Be gentle with yourself, and know that you are deserving of love and compassion, always.
