Welcome, dear friend. Let's take a brief pause together, to step out of the whirlwind of our daily lives and find a moment of stillness within. Whether you're seated, lying down, or standing, allow yourself to settle into a posture that feels comfortable and supportive.

Take a deep breath in through your nose, feeling the air fill your lungs, your chest, and your belly. Hold it briefly, and then let it go, slowly and gently through your mouth. As you exhale, feel your body soften – your jaw, your shoulders, your hands, and your heart.

Now, bring your attention to the simple, yet profound, sensation of breathing. Notice how your body breathes itself, without any effort or control on your part. Feel the cool air entering your nostrils, the gentle expansion of your chest, and the subtle rise and fall of your abdomen. Each breath is like a wave, washing over you, bringing freshness and vitality.

As you rest in this awareness, thoughts may arise – worries about the future, regrets about the past, or judgments about the present. Remember, these thoughts are not problems to be solved right now. They are simply passing clouds in the vast sky of your awareness. Acknowledge them with kindness, and then gently guide your attention back to the anchor of your breath.

In this space, there is no need to strive or to achieve. You are enough, exactly as you are. With each inhale, feel yourself being nourished and rejuvenated. With each exhale, feel yourself letting go of any tension or resistance.

As we begin to close this practice, take a moment to appreciate the gift of this pause. The world will continue to turn, but you can carry this stillness and presence with you into the rest of your day. Remember, this place of peace is always available to you, whenever you need it.

Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes, take a deep stretch if you'd like, and gently open your eyes. Return to your day with a renewed sense of clarity, ease, and connection.
