Inner Critic Tame
❝An 11-step meditation for integrating the parts of yourself you struggle with most❞
Hi there, I'm so glad you've joined me for this special meditation practice. Today, we'll be doing some powerful inner work to help you embrace all parts of yourself, even the ones you might typically avoid or resent.

I invite you to find a comfortable position, either seated or lying down, allowing yourself to feel safe and supported. You might like to use pillows, blankets or even a stuffed animal to help you feel more grounded. Take your time getting settled. When you're ready, gently close your eyes if that feels okay, knowing you can always open them again if needed.

Let's begin by identifying a part of yourself that you struggle with - an emotion, personality trait, or anything you feel gets in the way of the life you want to live. Where do you sense this part in your mind and body? Notice its presence, boundaries and qualities. If this part had a color, shape, sound or character, what would it be? Allow an image to take form.

Now, imagine you are sitting with this part of yourself. Make it feel safe and let it know, through your presence, that you're not here to get rid of it but to understand it better. Ask it, "What is it like to be you? How are you trying to help me?" Listen openly, without judgment.

When you feel ready, express appreciation to this part for doing its best to serve you, even if you don't fully understand its motives. Then, make a caring physical connection, like a gentle hug or holding it in your hands. Go slowly, building trust.

Next, ask this part what it needs from you. How can you support it? Imagine yourself offering this as a gift and watch it be received. Then, welcome this once-shunned part to rejoin the community of your many inner parts, all in the light, all belonging.

Feel all your parts dissolving into a sense of embodied wholeness, one radiant experience. Breathe into this unity, letting it fill you completely as you soften and release any lingering resistance. Rest here in the fullness of your being.

In these last moments, offer yourself deep gratitude for showing up for this meaningful inner work. It takes courage to embrace all of who you are. With each breath, feel the ease and lightness of inner peace.

Whenever you feel ready, start to wiggle your fingers and toes, letting your eyes open and your awareness return to the space around you. Remember to take good care of yourself after this practice. You've opened to some big energies.

Thank you for your presence and willingness to let me guide you. It's an honor to support your journey of integration and wholeness. Be well, my friend.
